Learning a second language definitely has its benefits. I moved to Türkiye in 2012 from California. I’m American so no ties to Türkiye. I mastered the language in 3 years and am nearly fluent but man did it take a lot of work. It was tough and definitely gave me a new perspective toward migrants going to America without English.
